AN EVENING OF ELEGANCE AND GLAMOUR TO CREATE AWARENESS AND RAISE FUNDS FOR UKF 2013 EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE PROGRAMS
WASHINGTON DC (January 2013) — UKF is pleased to announce the first edition of United for Kids Foundation Ambassadors Ball. This will be a black tie event, and an opportunity for supporters to dress up for a worthy cause. It promises to be a night of glitz, glamour and elegance to raise funds to maintain UKF Libraries within public elementary schools in Nigeria and also fund the 2013 Back to School Program. The event will be held in Washington D.C.’s most beautiful and historic mansion — The Whittemore House at Dupont Circle on March 2nd, 2013 from 6pm to 10pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for Nigerians and friends of Nigeria residing in the USA to be a part of the movement to provide better opportunities for children from low income families in Nigeria. The event will serve as an opportunity to create awareness about UKF’s work, current challenges, future plans and also a great opportunity to appreciate UKF’s consistent supporters. United for Kids Foundation is a prime example that we all can help, give back, and assist as individuals instead of waiting for someone to do it. This UKF machine is huge and the real heroes are the people working behind the scenes. Capacity is limited, so it is important to reserve your seat early.
